Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

For unto us a child is born- God allowed His creation, and the world to experience His only son. To hear directly from Him, to witness His miracles, some were even allowed to walk beside Him and eat with Him, and now we can read all about it.

What is man that God is mindful of him? Yes, we are His creation, that was born into sin and need a savior to return to a Holy God. What is man that God is mindful of him? Yes, because God loves us! He has provided us a way back to himself.

Unto us a son is given- God has given His only son to save man from his sin and reconcile him back to God.

The government shall be upon his shoulder- the first time He came the full weight of the whole world government came down on His shoulders when they crucified my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When He comes the second time He will rule and Reign with a Rod of Iron. The full weight of government shall be upon the world’s shoulders. And He will reign totally.

His name shall be called;

Wonderful- because He has divine vision, divine truth, divine love given to us.

Counsellor-He is our advocate/counsellor in our judgment time. He will represent us before a Holy God (the final Judge) during the great White throne judgment.  (tissue box)

The mighty God- divine power, divine strength. He is Mighty to save. He has the power to resurrect the dead. Amen!

The everlasting Father-He will always be our Father forever! Fathers are there to correct us when we are wrong and to keep us from trouble. Father’s lead and shows how to provide and how work.

The Prince of Peace- God Is the Father, and the Father is the King, the Son Jesus is the Prince, for the son of the King is the Prince.  The King sent His Son (Jesus) the Prince, into this world to save us all from our sins. When we are cleansed of our sins we are at peace with the world and our God.  He also brought peace into the world as men and women begin to forgive one another after their conversion. His Gospel message is a message of peace.

Psalms 40:16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee- If we are seeking the Lord we are be rejoicing in praise to Him.

Let all those that love thy salvation say continually-We should all say The LORD be magnified. We need to be in a constant state of praise and worship of our Lord God and Savior. Only Jesus our Lord is worthy of our honor.

Psalms 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

If you love the LORD, you will hate evil.- If we love the Lord, we must despise evil. Evil and the Lord cannot be in the same space. Like oil and water does not mix.

He preserveth the souls of his saints- Preserves are great when you need them. Preserves are item that you saved, for days when you cannot get to the market. The verse indicates that God preserves the souls of his saints. That means to us if we are saved we are preserved for the masters use in is time not mine. God saves the souls of His saints.

He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked- God also can deliver us from out of the hand of the evil one, (Satan) He can take us away because Satan has no power he must ask God for permission to do anything.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.`

There are three things God wants to take control of from you;

All thy heart- Your heart is important to God, it is where your treasures lie. And he wants to be the treasure of your heart. Our problem is we do not often want to allow Him in. If God is in control, he will Guide us. Which is His desire.

All thy soul- Your soul is important to God, because he is seeking to save you for the Kingdom of God. For work He has called you to do.

All thy mind- Your mind is important to God, because he is seeking your worship & praise of Him.

Can you relinquish these three things to God? He is waiting for you.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

A new commandment I give unto you- God want us to be obedient to Him. He has given us a new commandment to follow.

That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.- Wow, this may be hard at times. But we must try to follow through.

Can you follow this commandment? We need to try everyday.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Jesus said, If, a man love me, he will keep my words- we must follow His words. All of them. They are here for the saving of our souls. They will help us get down to Straight Street in our lives and make the necessary changes in our lives.

The Love of God is shown to us in His word and through His saving Grace.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

We will come unto him, and make our abode with him.- Notice He says WE (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) will come unto him.  This is the dwelling of the Lord and Holy Spirit in your Life.  Call on him today! Repent and confess!

Make our abode with him.- Do you want the Lord God to dwell with you? Invite Him in Your heart today without delay!  He states he will make His dwelling with you.

Now this brings us to the Love of God. The Love of God is for us. It is given to us from above and God desire a relationship with us. He Wants to control our heart Souls And mind so he can perform the necessary changes to our lives so He may dwell within us, and He may take up residency there. Only if we allow Him full control.

The Love of God is on display with this verse.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
