For us to change, we must have a desire to change. No matter what happens, our lives, but when things circumstances change, so will we change. This world will change! No one knows what will happen tomorrow. However, our God does. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Today we can have a fresh new start if we choose Jesus to enter our lives. We Shall All be Canged!
Don’t you long to be transformed by meeting the precious Jesus, who came for the unforgivable sins, mistakes, regrets, worries, sorrows, and sufferings we experience in this life. This same Jesus who took upon Himself all the sins, circumstances, and burdens of this world and said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened”! There is great grace in God sending His only Son for us. God does not expect or desire us to be perfect; rather, He wants us to be transformed into humble and obedient people. We exhaust ourselves by clinging to our old nature and sin, saying, “We’ve always done it this way,” and wasting precious time in pride and idleness. We must cut off ignorance and pride. We must confess and repent. God knows everything. There are new mercies waiting for you and me. God’s plan for our lives is still to bestow His love and grace upon us. We all need to be transformed! Amen!
Apostle Paul tells us about the Rapture of the Church … not to be confused with the Second coming of Jesus. Two different events.
Greek Word Harpazo = means “to seize, snatch, or carry off by force”.
It is the root word behind the theological concept of the Rapture.
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Apostle Paul presents us with a “mystery” that believers will undergo transformation in an instant, at the sound of the final trumpet. Jesus appearing for his bride the Church.
This transformation applies to two groups: those who will be living when Christ calls us up and those who will have already died, with both experiencing this change simultaneously.
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
*“The nature of this change is radical. Nothing the world has experienced before. What is corruptible must become incorruptible, and what is mortal must become immortal. Bodies sown in corruption rise in incorruption; sown in dishonor rise in glory; sown in weakness rise in power. Christ will transform believers’ bodies to resemble his own glorified body”. (Philippians 3:20–21)
1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
Apostle Pual is telling those at Thessalonica that God and him does not want them to have a lack of knowledge about dead in Christ. We have hope that God will keep his promises and we should never doubt. Also, we need to make sure our loved ones have accepted Jesus in their hearts before death.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
When Christ appears, believers will become like him, seeing him as he truly is. This represents the culmination of a process already underway believers are progressively transformed into Christ’s image through the Holy Spirit’s work. Yet the final, complete transformation awaits that singular moment when Christ appears, and believers appear with him in glory. Amen.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep
The believers of each age should live in continued expectation of the Lord’s coming, not knowing but that they should be among those found alive at His coming (Matthew 24:42). It is a sad fall from this blessed hope, that death is looked for by most men, rather than the coming of our Lord. Each generation in its time and place represents the generation which shall actually survive till His coming.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Believers who have died accepting Jesus as there personal savior.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Believers who have accepting Jesus as there personal savior and are alive. (Those who have died in faith) and (those who believe today) meet the Lord together. Amen.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Knowing what God’s word say helps us to comfort one another and comfort ourselves when it is needed during our lifetimes. It is a great help to us in other words; it becomes the bread of life.
Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
Job says he will wait until his change comes and it will come, we do not know the day nor the hour, but it will come to each one of us.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Amen!
