Ungodly Judgment and Righteous Deliverance 불경건한 자에 대한 심판과 의로운 자에 구원 Juicio impío y liberación justa

Last week we learned there was a way that we should walk and talk and act as believers in Jesus Christ, we must speak and act within God’s will. Now that we know that we are saved and justified because of Jesus, and that only Jesus is the way of life and we must believe and obey Him in order to have our salvation.
How can the worlds people go through life without knowing God and His word? How can the saved people go through life knowing God without sharing His word with others?
Those who do not or refuse to acknowledge Jesus, the word of God has a strong message for them… Consider Peter’s warnings to us if we refuse to follow God. Peter gives several illustrations to demonstrate both the Lord’s judgment and His deliverance in the following passages.
2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Angels—the highest of intelligent creatures yet not spared when they sinned it is clear that even angels could not be forgiven.. For God detests sin intensely, and because of sin, we who cannot see God, cannot approach Him, cannot meet Him, God sent His only Son, Jesus. Sin separates us from God, and even the sinful angels were cast down to earth to be totally separated from God. In the case of the angels that had revolted. Neither their former rank, their dignity, majesty, nor their holiness, saved them from being thrust down to hell; and if God punished them so severely, they could not hope to escape. Their final doom and destiny is hell, yet for a time they are permitted to roam beyond it in “the darkness of this world.” seeking others to join them in hell within this sin-stained world. When we sin we are no better than those fallen angels. They saw and experienced things in heaven that we have not yet, and experienced, and they had privileged knowledge. But no longer, their choice to sin bound them in chains of darkness, sealing their fate. This same fate applies for the false teachers, apostate preacher and apostates Christians that have abandon, deserted, or renounced their service to God.
This world is filled with evil and our Lord Jesus’ disciples teach that even if the sin of this world reaches waist-deep, we must not be affected by it. God word tells us to “flee from it”. Do you remember Joseph fleeing from Potiphar’s wife… (Genesis 39:7-18)
Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
God’s sorrow and anguish over human sin—not mere mistakes born of ignorance, but the wickedness of deliberate transgression. Because God only saw the wickedness of humans and saw no worship to God it grieved Him in His heart. God’s own creation causing such pain to our God and creator. Here it is clearly stated: “God is not a man that He should change, nor does He make mistakes or have regrets. The Bible expresses this truth in a way humans can easily understand.” Have you ever considered the impact our sin has on God the Creator? See how our sin effects God! It is the same as when we oppose one another, causing suffering to family and friends around us. Do not commit sin in any way, do not fall into temptation, and immediately repent and confess. This is because God, the Judge, hears, sees, and records. When you repent and confess, the faithful God toward sinners is a God of love and forgiveness, and a righteous Judge. If you persist in sin through pride and wickedness, understand that no one can escape God’s judgment. If humans refuses to worship God, “the rocks and trees will cry out to God”
2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
God destroyed even the old world God created because of the sin of human. However, our God loves us so much He provided a way of escape through Noah for those who were willing to enter the Ark of salvation and safety. God saved the only righteous family in the old created world. He saved Noah. Did you notice here God called Noah preacher of righteousness? This tells me while Noah struggled to build the Ark he would Preach the word of God to those lost men and women of the old world even as they mocked him and God, for one hundred twenty-five years. But, Noah and his family were saved because of his righteousness and obedience to God.
2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
We have learned that we must not become beings consumed by fire like these cities, nor dwell with the ungodly, nor set our hearts on them. The scripture makes it abundantly clear that if we become ungodly people we become condemned and we will face judgment. Sodom and Gomorrha were set up as an examples for future generations to remember. The doctrine of the wrath of God may seem like bad news to many, it is actually a fundamental fact and part of the gospel.
2 Peter 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
The word vexed, means that he was burdened. Lot surrounding himself and his family with the filthy wickedness that had left them with a profound physical, emotional, and spiritual exhaustion. God rescued Lot and his family from the extreme physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering caused by the wicked deeds and immoral conduct of the wicked people.
2 Peter 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
It was because of the wicked people around him, their corrupt, and unbridled lust, and debauchery conduct of the wickedness around them. But because Lot was righteous man, God saved Lot’s family—who did not fall into corruption or participate in the immorality— God delivered them from the impending doom and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha. Lot was in the wrong place at the wrong time and it caused him profound physical, emotional, and spiritual exhaustion.
The sinners of this world should never forget that there is an eye of unslumbering vigilance always upon them. Every act of the ungodly is witnessed and recorded by God, who will ultimately render precise judgment for each person’s sins. and that everything that he does is witnessed by God who will yet render exact justice to all men. No one, can expect justice to be withheld, no matter how diligently they try to conceal their sins, no matter how boldly they commit transgressions, or no matter how unconcerned they may seem to be, can hope that justice will be served. Obedience is better than sacrifice it pleases God and my soul..
All people must respond to God by repenting and confessing their sins to Jesus. God desires us to follow His word. When we follow with an attitude of obedience, overflowing with gratitude and joy God’s boundless grace, let us obey His word and allow it to be a lamp to our feet, guiding us in the light to our path and give thanks and glory to God for His instructions. Amen.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Amen.
