Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Paul’s conclusion simply affirms this is a manifestation of human depravity occurring under his own eyes; but as this only showed what men, when unrestrained, is in his/her present condition. This was quite pertinent to the apostle’s purpose and to us today.
God wants us to help our brothers and sisters out of their foolishness and set them straight.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Paul states the reason for saying that God poured his love into the hearts of sinners. He tells us that he was justified in making this assertion because “while we were still powerless,” that is, helpless, totally unable to rescue ourselves from the effects of the fall, Christ, motivated by sovereign love and not by any human merit or accomplishment, died for us, the ungodly.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands his / her deplorable condition.; there is no one who is searching for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; there no exceptions, there is no one who does what is right; there is not even one.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
There is no neutral territory your choice is between these two: death and life, eternal death & eternal life. Wages tells us that we are working for this. Working to go to hell or working to go to heaven. The right choice should be made. It is you that has to make your choice. Your life depentds on it.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Paul, describes an outward expression of inward trust. Believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth as separate activities your required to participate in order to gain salvation. Your faith in the resurrection is essential to your salvation. Righteousness refers to a right relationship with God that has been restored after we placing faith in Jesus
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord. This also requires you to do it yourself, no one else can do it for you. It requires you t say a prayer asking the Lord God Almighty to save you from your sin, and come in and take up residence in your heart. A heartfelt confession of Jesus’ lordship designates a lifelong commitment that issues from the center of a person’s being, the heart. What matters is making Jesus the Lord at the core of one’s existence.
To obey is better than sacrifice, hearken than the fat of rams. Amen.
