The King’s Way 왕의 길 (기쁨의 길 )
When we travel, we usually will plan and try to stick to it. We will ahead of time map out our route and have a game plan in case of an emergency rising along the mapped-out route. So, we pretty much have thought about the whole length of our travels.
The things we have not planned for are accidents, those you will meet along the way, what you expect when you arrive at your destination. And any unplanned stops along the way.
No matter how well you plan it will always change along the way. You may hit a detour that was not along the mapped route. One of your routes has been closed by accident or you forgot something important… These are what we can call our challenges along the journey. We all will experience them.
God has a journey for each one of us, we may know the destination or may not know, but the journey will be new to us, and we are like the child in the back seat saying, Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
How many know the Frank Santra Song, “I Did It My Way”? It is one of the most beloved and poplar worldly songs I know. It is sending out the wrong signal to the public.
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
There is a way in which the Lord God wants us to follow Him and when we follow Him according to His will the way is easy for us. It is called (The King’s Way) today we will discuss the important things about this way.
The King’s Way leads us to our righteousness and redemption. When we choose to not to follow Our God and go our own way it leads to unrighteousness and no redemption, and we suffer the loss of our righteousness and redemption to our own pride filled hearts.
The King’s Way is sometimes called, King’s Highway or King’s way
Highway = a thoroughfare, a causeway, a road, or a path. (King’s Highway or King’s way)
The King’s way or the King’s highway was made for people and things to be transported from one location to another and it may have been safe guarded for those goods and people to travel along it. Just like our highways today. Still there me be things that we were not expecting to be there. Extra tolls, many other travelers, heading who knows where. Robbers, and thieves, and bandits, and sickness may be present along the way. These things are temporary and may slow us down or knock us off course. But we have hope, and the King’s promise that he himself will guide us all the way. We need to understand as when we follow him he will be with us in our hour of need.
The King’s highway or the King’s way is the way he wants you and I to travel or follow his path. It is also the one way back to the Father’s House, because we belong to Him and He belongs to us.
Here are the paths instructions
Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, And it shall be called The way of holiness; The unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: The wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
The wayfaring men, = to walk, a journey, a traveler, from place to place. Or “He (the Holy One) shall be with them, walking in the way” “And (even) fools,” that is, the simple shall not go astray, namely, because “He shall be with them”.
The King’s way is called the way of holiness. This show it is the way leading the redeemed back to Jerusalem, and temple worship both the literal and the heavenly, still Christ at His coming again shall be the Leader on the day, for which reason it is called, “The way of the Lord”.
Sinners should not be on this highway, only the redeemed of the Lord can pass on it because Sin and God cannot mix. It is like oil and water. Sinners are foolish if they think that they may enter without repentance and confession.
We find Safety on the Way
Isaiah 35:9 No lion shall be there, Nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, It shall not be found there; But the redeemed shall walk there: Those that follow this way are kept away from Satan the roaring Lion. “God shall be with them.”
The Lord your God will not allow harm to come to His own on the King’s way while you’re following it. He will not allow Satan, whom is roaming around this world seeking whom he may devour, to harm you as long as we are obedient.
Straight way to God
Isaiah 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
This verse is speaking of John the Baptist proclaiming Prepare ye the way = The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness. Jesus= The way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Jesus will make a way back to Our God! Jesus we must follow!
A prepared ye the way of the people
Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
When we follow, we understand more of His words, and it becomes clearer to us. Go through, go through the gates- Jesus went through the Sheep gate when he entered Jerusalem at the Triumphful entry. He prepared ye the way for the people. Someone made the road for the king to travel on too. cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones. When we work for the King, we become lifted up, and we become lifted and worthy of His righteousness.
Jesus came 2000 yrs ago to show us “The King’s Way” and He died on the cross for ALL SIN! We are given a standard for the people to live by faith. Amen!
We find Signage along the way
Jeremiah 31:21 Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
Set the up waymarks= to know you’re on right road (Hansel & Gretel left bread crumbs right) Signage helps us. You want to know where you’re going don’t you? what if there were no road signs or waymarks. We all would be lost never making it to our destination. Follow the signs he provides for you.
We need to set our hearts towards following the King’s highway. to make sure we make our destination. If we go off course or get lost go back and start again …. even the way which thou wentest: turn again, don’t give up!
Jeremiah says even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities. Mary and Joseph went back to Bethlehem and birthed Jesus, and they returned to Jerusalem when after being sent to Egypt too. God wants his people to find there way back to His Church and worship Him and learn of their true destination which is to arrive in Heaven one day to be in the presence of God himself. Amen!
This is the way to preserve your soul.
Proverbs 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
To keep us from evil and to preserve our souls to be saved for His Kingdom’s work. There is no need for us to remain in evil, Our God wants us to live! Therefore, we must depart from evil, cast it away. To follow in” obedience is better than sacrifice”!
We “ALL” must pass “The King’s Way” to obtain salvation.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Amen.
