Psalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: Yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
A few weeks ago, we discussed that our worship in God house of prayer should give him praise and worship with the fullness of spirit and truth. We can shout for joy, and be glad, and let us say continually, Let the Lord be magnified. He is to be exulted.
Let them shout for joy, and be glad-Enter His house with thanksgiving, joy and gladness.
That favour my righteous cause-Because we favor or desire to help with God’s cause and desire to follow his direction. (Great Commission)
Yea, let them say continually-Evermore, forever, without ceasing…
Let our Lord be magnified-The most important Part of our worship should be exulting the Name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.
Which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant- Our God wants to provide all we need for us and make us prosperous servants. Sometimes we can hinder this by not following His will for us.
Psalms 43:4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, Unto God my exceeding joy: Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
Then will I go unto the altar of God-The alter is where we meet with our God, and where we conduct serious business with our God. Confess & Repent
Unto God my exceeding joy- We should go there with exceeding great joy for it is where we obtain forgiveness.
From time to time when we are in the house of the Lord, we should go unto the altar of God confess and repent and asked earnestly for Gods help. We should praise him with the harp, psaltery, and lyre. (stringed instruments)
Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Worldly joys are soon gone. Such as crown themselves with rosebuds, and bathe in the perfumed waters of pleasure may have joys which seem to be sweet, but they are swift and have consequences. They are like meteors, which give a bright and sudden flash, and then disappear. But the joys which believers have are abiding, they are a blossom of eternity a pledge of those rivers of pleasure which run at God’s righthand.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing-In our belief of salvation we can be filled with hope all joy and peace.
That ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost-The comforter, which was left with us, will definitely lead us.
Psalms 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit.
While at the altar, we can also thank the Lord as He restores unto us the joy of our salvation. That will allow Him to uphold us with His free spirit. Amen!
Romans 15:32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God and may with you be refreshed.
I may come unto you with joy by the will of God-Our obedience is here to accomplish God’s will in our lives.
And may with you also be refreshed- We can all be refreshed by Holy Spirit of Joy by our obedience together. I refresh you, you refresh me, and together we refresh others. Amen!
Be refreshed- In our mind, body, and soul. Be refreshed-In the Word of God!
Psalms 67:4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: For thou shalt judge the people righteously, And govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
For God will judge the people righteously and keeps the record. He also governs the nations upon earth. So, let all nations be glad and sing for joy of their salvation.
Psalms 105:43 And he brought forth his people with joy, And his chosen with gladness:
God’s Spirit of joy has chosen people, and He brought forth with His joy knowing they can do the work that He has planned for them to do. It says God did it with gladness, so even God experiences the Spirit of Joy when we become obedient to His will.
Look at what can happen when all bitterness, strife, and envy is cast out of our lives. We can and will become a help and a blessing to someone today, and many days forward in the future.
My Savior Jesus, I love thee more.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Amen.
