Have you ever lost something? I have, you know something that is so important that you must find in order to complete any other tasks. An example like car keys, phone or wallet etc …
We search diligently until we find them right. Jesus told us this is the way we need to find Him our faith and our future ministry for Him. We must search diligently for them.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God-We all must Seek after God first and His Kingdom. Husbands and wives need to seek ye first the kingdom of God in their marriages.
His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. -God will provide for us whatever we need. Husbands and wives need to seek His righteousness in their marriages.
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Each one of us must ask and seek the Lord Jesus Christ to come into our hearts and indwell our lives. Ask Him to save you and control every aspect of your life to include your thoughts. Once we accomplish this, He will teach us diligently the Word of God and then we will have our faith grown in Him and His word. Just as we seek diligently for that set of keys, we should use that same diligence to worship and understand the word of God, so we may know our God and rely on Him, for all our needs.
Jesus told us “Ask, and it shall be given you” How do we ask? Seek the Lord through prayer. Build a diligent prayer life.
Jesus says “seek, and ye shall find” We seek when we search diligently until we find what we are seeking. Amen!
Jesus also says “knock, and it shall be opened unto you”. Sometimes we must knock on a closed door before it is opened to us. We must take the action diligently ourselves before it will start. Also, many times we let major opportunities pass us by because we don’t walk through the door that has been opened before us. Or we become afraid to knock on it. Just do it without fear! Did Jesus say might, or maybe? No, He said “it shall be opened to us”.
Matthew 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Jesus told us “Every one that asked received”. We will receive an answer if we ask through prayer.
Jesus says, “he that seemeth finlet”. We will find what we are seeking.
Jesus also says, “to him that knocked it shall be opened”. It will be opened. Not might, it will.
These are all guarantees that it will come to pass in our lives if we follow through. Amen!
All of this requires our diligent trust in the Lord Jesus Christ words. That He will perform that which He has stated to us in His word. This requires our unconditional belief. When we seek the Lord, we need to bend our stiff knees, (conceited) and our stiffer neck, (pride) and cry out to the Living God. In the name of Jesus seek cleansing and justification. You will not be refused.
When we seek the Lord, we find Him as our Savior, our Father, and our God.
Matthew 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Would anyone here not diligently teach their children right from wrong? This would be a disservice to both you and them. This is just wrong thinking.
How about when you feed them. If they asked you for bread, would you give them a stone. That would be foolish.
Matthew 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If they asked for fish, would you give them a snake. Who would eat a snake anyway? This is to the extreme….
We should give to them the things that they need to survive in the world. And the most important thing we can give them is a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
God gave to us all time, night and day, sun, moon, and stars, spring, summer, fall and winter. And most importantly, he gave his only begotten son, Jesus, to restore our relationship with God.
Just as you must seek the Lord, they need Him too, because Jesus said, “I have overcome the world”. These are the words of the Bible. God has given us everything. However, Satan is looking for someone to devour us like a lion’s
Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
We know all too well how to give good gifts being evil, and how to give good gifts unto your children. We exchange gifts all the time. Why can’t we give out the gospel message. It is easy to give a bible. KJV of course.
How much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Again, we see action required on our part. When we give good gifts, Our Father will reward us with blessings. We are grateful to for our missionaries.
The gospel begins through Bible study. Amen! This is the beginning of the blessings we can receive. Please make an effort to gather together for Bible study and value worship. Claricia gave out Bibles and then she learned that they started a bible study. Amen! That is the kinds of blessing we may receive. The kids were strengthened and Claricia and Pedro were strengthened. Claricia, shared the Bible to spread the gospel to children in the name of Jesus, gives to those in need, and dedicates herself to the Lord with her husband through faith, service, and love. Thank you.
Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
We need to Seek and pray diligently to the Lord, for one another so that no one’s faith will diminish. Once we are converted, we need to start to strengthen others as others strengthen us. Again, there is a lot of participation on our part we cannot just sit back and wait on others to move we need to be moving also.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
As we Seek the Lord we need to diligently and constantly stay in the word of God, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. Without ceasing. Prayer, bible study, Wednesday evening, Sunday school and Sunday worship service. These are important to our growth in our faith and walk with Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
It is not easy I realize this, and we need to diligently set some priorities in our Christian life, so our homes are not falling apart around us. As we diligently work for God, we will see that it is truly a work and labor of love. The Lord God will see us through it for He is with us as we walk and when we grow weary, He will carry us. Our Lord and God see what you have done in His name, as you have ministered to the saints, and He will strengthen you to do more ministering if needed. The Lord God will keep the record.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Shelah. Amen.
