Are you wondering why so many people seem unhappy now a days. Facts are clear the global economy is a mess. People hooked on social media constantly compare themselves to others. People are more isolated and lonelier than ever before. People replacing real life friendships, with online friends. Our leadership has gone astray.
It’s time to make a change and combat unhappiness in our lives to desire a happier life. These problems, and what I believe is that it is because humanity has gotten away for Our God and Creator and has perverted the original intent that God has intended for us.
Staying away from God is the beginning of our unhappiness, and it is created by sinful desires. We are very easily tempted by evil, so let’s find out what kind of results the seeds of unhappiness produce.
These are some signs that contribute to your unhappiness, they are.
—Name dropping, bragging, exaggerating about your achievements and talents [I am better than you are attitude] (Evidence of insecurity.)
–Holding grudges, obsessively hating others. (Evidence of anger and also fans its flames.)
—Blaming others, denying responsibility, complaining, being helpless or passive, always framing oneself as a victim (Evidence fear/anxiety/insecurity/shame/guilt.)
–Insulting/bullying others /mocking others /demeaning others. (Evidence of insecurity/shame.)
—Lying, cheating others. (Evidence of insecurity/fear/shame/anxiety.)
I will remind you that worry is a sin, brings stress
Your health can decline due to stress your level too, stress causes Anxiety, headaches, breathing issues, and Heart palpitations these can lead to High Blood Pressure, depression, Heart disease, Diabetes and Obesity.
Do you see the connection here?
What happened to love thy neighbor….Do unto others as you want others to do to you…
All of this is because sin, the source of the beginning, tempts us and leads to disappointment, failure, sadness, hatred, pain, and enmity. How many Christians are there who do not love themselves and cannot protect their families and happiness? When you live your life of faith with the words Jesus taught you with gratitude and joy, aren’t you satisfied with Jesus’ resurrection from the power of the cross and death?
I hope that you will rely on Jesus as you live your busy and tiring life in this world. Only then can you be satisfied with Jesus who has prepares your time and mind for eternity in heaven.
Love thy neighbor…
One who obeys the Word of God, He will bless you to love your neighbors, have pity on unbelieving souls, and become neighbors, friends, and family members who spread the gospel and be satisfied in Jesus.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you…
Habakkuk the prophet (Habakkuk= Means embrace) wrote a letter just before the invasion of the Chaldeans against Israel. It was written around the latter days of king Josiah. He railed against the sin of Israel. Here is some of what he said.
Josiah = God supports and heals.
Habakkuk 3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
The fig tree is speaking of food / famine coming (remember the leapers would go out to eat the figs outside the town Bethphage and Bethany, sight of the triumphal entry of Jesus). no blossoms, no figs no food. Signs of famine.
God’s word tells us we can be happy because we have Jesus in our life and if we are following his word we will overcome this unhappiness of this world. Amen!
God wants us to have fruit on our branches, remember he is the vine, and we are the branches. If we do not produce fruit, the church (flock) will die, we don’t want to be cut off. If we do not teach the next generation, we will end up bearing no fruit, no olives in our fields, no flocks in the churches, no herds in the stall for them to learn from. Only God Satisfy You!
No matter what situation we are in, Almighty God is with us, and we must be grateful to Jesus, who is the source of all our lives, in all circumstances and in all things.
Job 5:17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:
When the Lord God correcteth, we need to heed the warnings. You know if we heed the warning we don’t have to go through the chastisement. Why do we despise the chastening of the almighty God? Yes! No one likes it but, if it is the way God has to deal with some of his people because we don’t come willingly and right away When we allow God to correct us we allow change into our lives and it is a change for the better.
When we allow God to correct us directly in a way that is different from the way He deals with some of His children, God’s plan is without error and allows changes to be made in our lives through trials and tribulations alike by the permission of His will. Those who realize that they are children of God through hardships and whose participation in salvation is incomparable to anything other than the rich in this world.
Be thankful for the momentary pain, be patient, allow our lives to happen, and love and be content with Jesus who is always by our side!
Habakkuk 3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
As Christians, we should be overjoyed and rejoice that we have been saved because we believed in Jesus Christ and made Him our Savior. We should also rejoice in knowing the way to the Lord our God. Rejoice and be thankful to our colleagues and fellow partakers who share in the faith and be your friends in salvation. You should not hate anything. Love it! Especially non-believers.
Psalms 144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
When we make Our God our LORD that means we allow him to rule and reign over us and we follow his leading. He becomes our Master, and we follow his directions. Do you want to follow him today? The choice is yours!
Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
We can only find true wisdom and true understanding in the Word of God. So, we must stay in the Word, apply it to our lives, repent for change, and actually see the results of satisfaction. If we do that, we will have a more positive attitude, we will be satisfied with the cross of Jesus. The Lord has prepared our cross for us to carry through faith. Hold on tight! He will help you!
Habakkuk 3:19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
As we allow God to move in our lives, we can always count on his strength to be with us when life get tuff the tuff get going. Consider that God wants us to have hinds’ feet= hooves of the mountain goat /rams it helps them to walk on the high cliffs. God wants us to walk upon mine high places= God wants us to make to the pinnacle of the mountain, or to reach our highest potential we can for him.
God is with us wherever we are, whether on the top of a mountain or in a low place, and the Lord gives us the strength to climb to the place He wants us to be in, the highest potential and strength we can have. So, we can do more for Jesus and for our neighbors. He gives us all the helps to reach it. Are you satisfied with Jesus?
Satisfied with Jesus
I am satisfied with Jesus, He has done so much for me. He has suffered to redeem me, He has died to set me free.
*I am satisfied, I am satisfied, I am satisfied with Jesus
But the question comes to me, As I think of Calvary. Is the Master satisfied with me.
John 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
If we know God’s word, we can start to do those things that it tells us to implement to make the necessary changes. We need to be doing those things it asks of believers. If we do this, we will prevent the unhappiness and the misfortunes of this world from raining down on us and the next generation If we do that, regardless of our current state in this world, we will all be saved and have a way to heaven, so we will be grateful, happy, and satisfied with Jesus.
I’m just a happy Christian
I’m just a happy Christian, My sins are all forgiven,
I’m in the church that Jesus did build.
His bride will go to Heaven, His blood for her was given,
His name she’ll always wear.
The Bible says so, and listen, Brother, we must obey;
Doctrines of men will perish On the judgment day.
I’m just a happy Christian, I’m on my way to Heaven
I’m in the Church of Christ.
Riverview Church must be satisfied with the love of Jesus. And, they are happy children of Jesus. Everyone say hello with gratitude.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
