Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.
For out of the heart flow all the issues of life.
In today’s world, Proverbs 4:23 could be interpreted as:
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for when we work diligently with all our heart, it is precious and appreciated, and we do not rush into actions and decisions.
When we rely on our own thoughts, and not on God’s Word, we fall into trouble that causes issues in life.
“Lean not on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
But when we learn how to conduct ourselves under the guidance of the God’s wisdom and word. We will learn that the Holy Spirit will lead us through those troubled circumstances.
#Humility of heart
1. *Yield your thoughts and feelings to the Lord*: discern what drives your actions and decisions… Your thoughts and feelings are just that, they belong to you. They will never be God’s will for you and your life.
2. *Filter out the negative*: Be vigilant and discerning of what you use as venom, what you use as tirades, what you use as relationships, what you use as excessive broadcasting, what you use as politics, etc.
Know that doubt is the first thing that Satan will use it against you.
# Emotional Intelligence
1. *Understand the Word without getting emotional*: Think about what makes you angry and how to manage those emotions.
Know that Satan will never forget about your sin and will use it against you, but not God.
2. *Practice empathy and compassion*: Treat others with kindness and respect. Treat others as you would want to be treated.
#Live Intentionally
1. *Set clear goals and values*: Define what’s important to you and make decisions that align with those values.
2. *Be a seeker of God’s will first, and when you’re healthy, serve with joy. Life in order, physically, mentally, and emotionally to maintain a healthy, positive outlook and freedom of faith in the Word.
Obedience to these principles will give you peace of mind and a full and purposeful life, enriching you to be one of the chosen ones.
