Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

We will all die! Then the judgment. Not to be confused with the Great White Trone Judgement. The First entrance to heaven…. Second is our works, we did for Jesus after we were saved.
At the Great White Throne Judgement. We stand before Our God as Judge and He asks each one of you: After you accepted Jesus into your heart, what did you do with Him?…
Did you ever share Him with anyone? ….
We all should be able to say exactly what we did with His Son Jesus Christ.
1Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Only one foundation, Jesus Christ can get you to heaven! No other!
1Corinthians 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
The believer has the freedom to build on the Foundation of Jesus that has already been laid, using six different kinds of materials. gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble. This represents our works for Jesus Christ our Lord.
1Corinthians 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
Every man’s work shall be made manifest- Your results will be on display for you.
For the day shall declare it- Great White Throne Judgement Day where everyone’s your works will be judged.
It shall be revealed by fire- The fire is the test. Our works will be tried or tested by fire, now if we chose wood, hay, and stubble we will suffer a loss because these items are consumed by the fire… but if we chose gold, silver, and precious stones, these would melt and can be mold into what God wants them to be….
Every man’s work of what sort it is- Was it good, was it worthy, does God approve, or will you suffer a loss?
If we go to the New Jerusalem (Heaven) We will be doing work for our Lord Jesus Christ. No one knows their heavenly job yet. We are told that it is the city call the New Jerusalem, and we could assume we will see gates to the city.

Like the gates of Jerusalem- Old gate, Inspection gate, Fountain gate (King’s pool), Horse gate, Valley gate, Fish gate, Sheep gate, Water gate, East gate, and Dung gate. 10 gates here in Nehemiah, 12 in New Jerusalem.
We may have them in New Jerusalem (Heaven) and someone may have to work these gates. With this picture in your mind, invasion workers at these gates. More than likely skilled workers for smooth operations.
1Corinthians 3:14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
As our works continue in obedience, we will gain rewards from God! These rewards are jobs and /or many crowns. Crowns will cast at Jesus feet. These job’s we will do for our Lord are for eternity in addition to singing and praising Him continually.
1Corinthians 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss- Remember if we chose wood, hay, and stubble we will suffer a loss because these items are consumed by the fire… Some will not be able to say what they did because they never did anything for God. If they never did anything for God, how can God know their skills. And if God does not know their skills, He will not know where to place us in the New Heaven and New Earth. We will be considered unskilled. (Thief on cross)
But he himself shall be saved –There may only be left those unskilled positions in heaven at the Dung gate. There may be a whole lot of people at this gate. Don’t get me wrong being at the Dung gate is great, at least you’re not in the fiery pit of hell! You will have a job in heaven. Don’t wait until the end of life to repent and confess do it now. Then do a work for the Lord Jesus Christ while you can.
As for me and my house, I want to be able to cast some crowns at Jesus feet and hear….
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Understand we will be rewarded for your service here on this earth. These verses are clear. This is why Jesus came, to seek and save that which is lost.
This is the great news to be told to all, Jesus Saves! Tell someone today!
Revelation 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
He that hath an ear –We all have ears, and they are used for hearing. We should not be like some that lie and say we cannot hear. Their real problem is they don’t want to be responsible for what they heard. (Selective hearing)
Let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches –Our faith comes from the hearing of God’s Word. We need to be attentive to the Spirit of God in our lives as He moves us to do His good will in our lives. Otherwise, we will be moved by evil spirits, wasting time with evil spirits, falling into sin, conceiving, and committing sin again, and the resulting waste will bring us endless worries, depression, and pain in our hearts.
We can never do this with the Lord because He knows your intention and He sees your heart. Whether you are all in, or partially in, or all out! Harken to the word!
The LORD shall guide thee continually –If we follow the Lord our God’s leading, He will continually be with us through it all. No matter what. In all our trials and circumstances our God is continually there for us. It us, that seem to be far from him.
