Don’t you want to be filled with Joy? To be filled with Joy we just have to experience life with Jesus.  We all need Jesus in our lives. We can do nothing apart from Jesus. 0 We can experience joy and happiness, when we see joy, in life. We can experience the joy and happiness when we see clearly the word of God expressed to us for our growth. We can experience the joy and happiness when we understand that a Holy God has provided us a way back to him. Amen!

Acts 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

We all need the scales removed from our eyes. You know only the way we can have our scales removed is once we accept Jesus as our personal savior and become totally committed to his will. Amen! The scales of sin that blind us to the word of God they hold us back from our true potential with God.  We need the scales of this world taken way son we can follow God in our lives. Saul had many scales that were holding him back, persecuting Christians, his not intervening, and his unbelief in Jesus.

Saul received his sight after Ananias prayed, laid hands-on Saul and ordained him for work in ministry. Ananias followed the will of God. Saul was being prepared for ministry work to the Gentiles. And was immediately baptized.  Then he went out and preached in Jesus’ name to the Jews and Gentiles alike his ministry was mainly to the Gentile heathens according to scriptures. He was given a new name.

There is a new name written down in heaven Paul, no longer Saul. Amen!

Paul was filled with joy for he had truly found his Lord and Savior. He wrote 13 books of the New Testament Bible after his conversion.  Praise the Lord!

Just as our baptized candidates today are filled with joy. They are being prepared for their future ministry work.  Let us keep them in our prayers. So that they will continue to be faithful.

Psalms 105:43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

God chooses those who will complete His will, do the work, spread His word all for the Glory of Him. God chooses with gladness because He can see the end from the beginning. He knows what you will accomplish before you do. We can become filled with joy knowing this. We are Gods chosen when we follow His will.  If we that are chosen, then we are responsible to move in the direction God has planned for you to go.  Amen!

Psalms 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Trust in the Lord with all thy heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

All that fully trust in the Lord and let him lead their lives can rejoice with true joy and gladness because he will defend them on every attack against them. They will also praise His Holy name before others.   Praise the Lord before others.

When we let Lord lead in our lives, it is like letting him be yoked to us we don’t get ahead of the Lord, and we don’t get behind the Lord we stay side by side with the Lord. We walk together with the Lord. He teaches us.

Psalms 89:15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

Those that walk with the LORD can really become blessed, when you know the sweet and joyfulness of the sound of music and how it moves the people into the light of His countenance/presence. Chois, Congregational, are headed in one direction towards the Lord and in harmony.

One of my best and blessed Christmas times was when surprisingly a group of church members came to our home and sang Christmas carols at our door.  Your spirit becomes lifted up, and you become filled with joy knowing we have worship with likeminded members this encouragement can lead to us becoming more dedicated to the Lord will. Filled with Joy! All those working together for the Lord will always turn out good.

Side note: As I studied, I realized an unintended realization in just this verse alone. I mentioned it twice. So, to be clear because God’s word is clear on this subject.

What’s wrong with us adults.  This child leaping was John the Baptist the one whom later would baptize Jesus in Gailee for his ministry.  God’s word is truth, and every man is a liar. Amen!

Even Mary walked with the Lord

Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

Mary, filled with joy, was overwhelmed and could do nothing but praise the Lord. As Christians during this Christmas season, we must magnify the Lord in all we do. Make his presents known.

Luke 1:47And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Mary also said my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. As Mary did, we should let our spirit rejoice in God our Saviour. Amen! Our God is worthy of our praise.

A Blessed Song

My soul doth magnify the Lord,  My soul doth magnify the Lord.  And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

All coming from two verses of the Bible, what a blessing to know and sing music it is soothing to the soul remember King Saul when he had an evil spirit and David played the harp and it soothed and calmed his countenance. Same with us. We can be lifted up as Mary was in mind and spirit.  After we sing to the Lord we can be lifted in our spirit too. The right music will help you the wrong music will harm you.

The heavens are filled with Joy

Isaiah 49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

The heavens and the earth and the mountains can rejoice and be overjoyed at the Birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He truly has come to save his people from their sins. God’s word says, if we fail to praise Him even the rocks will cry out.  Even the sick can praise the Lord in song.     Look at this…

They are all filled with Joy!

Jesus said,  

Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Jesus should know because He came from heaven to earth to save us.

God and all His angels are filled with joy and celebrating when one comes into the fold. It is a joyous celebration in heaven. I can only imagine the celebration and singing that will take place.  One that was lost has returned home.

We can be filled with Joy!!!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
