The Bible, is the Word of God, and is truth and life. This means the words of Scripture are the bread of life. In the beginning, humans, were created in God’s image. However men and women disobeyed God through pride and sin. And because sin entered, God’s cursed the ground brought hardship, toil, pain, and suffering; and one sin gave birth to more sin. Because of sin, we could no longer approach God. God made the decision to send His only Son, Jesus, to this earth for all humanity trapped in sin. And He sent Him to this earth. God sent Jesus to save humanity from sin, to bring true repentance and salvation, and to spread the Gospel message (Jesus). The Gospel began in Jerusalem and spread throughout the world. This was God’s plan concerning the necessity of atonement for sin in the world.
If we consider that some modern men and women are redefining the Christian faith through the denial of the necessity of atonement for sin and the bodily resurrection of Christ. Some don’t think they need to believe. God is the same Yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God does not change, we do. Ignorant and arrogant people say believing in and serving Jesus Christ a waste of time. At the same time they foolishly devoting time and resources to worthless idols—ignorant and foolish humans, and they become fools themselves.
The world continues to deny and despise the merit of Jesus’ blood shed on the cross, rejecting God’s omnipotence and the merit of His only Son, Jesus. We must not compromise, sit, or associate with such people of this world who disregard and mock God Himself.
Modern fools live in the world with material possessions and honor, alongside sin, unaware of the fear of sin or where it leads. By denying the necessity of Christ’s physical resurrection, they redefine Christian faith as an insult and a laughingstock.
To all people of the world who show a faith that makes God and Jesus convenient, as if believing is unimportant, and to those who help others feel they need not believe—now is truly the time for repentance. Faith pleases God. This very hour is the hour for confession, and this very hour is the hour to receive mercy. Amen.
Let’s find out why the Lord Jesus Christ Himself said His death for sin was essential.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The first sacrifice made in the Garden occurs in Genesis when Adam and Eve brought sin into the paradise that God created. Then God had to kill animals for the skins to cover their nakedness. Therefore, death enters into the world. There must be a sacrifice in order to make things right. This is clear a sacrifice is required and a death occurs in order to cover our sins. Jesus Christ was ours on the cruel cross at Calvery. Blood must be shed. The blood of Jesus covers a multitude of sins. Amen! Consider the tabernacle sacrifices.
This is why we say obedience is better than sacrifice… If we follow in obedience God’s will and instructions, we will not have to sacrifice. This is why we confess and repent to make things right, and to obtain remission for our sins.
Confession = Confess, Confession, Profess, Profession, Promise and it is first admitting one’s fault. Confession is made with your mouth.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Repentance is next because we must admit, and confess we are sinners in need of a Holy God, to save us from our sins. We cannot save ourselves from our sins. Repentance is a stage of peace in our lives.
Repentance = is a fundamental spiritual process of changing one’s mind, heart, and direction—often described as a “180-degree turn”—away from sin and toward God. It is essential for salvation and forgiveness.
Only after true confession is made then, and only then can remission be granted.
Remission = Deliver, Deliverance, Deliverer, Forgive, Forgave, Forgiveness, Liberty.
God has clearly made a plan for us to follow.
God has clearly made a plan for us to follow, because we cannot give ourselves deliverance or forgiveness from our sins. It only comes from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, without confession and repentance there is no remission granted to us.
The Bible says.
Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
All the churches of today cannot forget to do this, if we do not follow these instructions the congregations are in peril, and their preachers will be held accountable. Also, it says it should start in Jerusalem. Do you see the problem not all of Jerusalem Synagogues followed the instructions and now today we suffer for the lack of that knowledge. This is why it is brought out in New Testament. For our correction.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise – God will act there is no way to get away from it. And he does not take it lightly.
Our God also is longsuffering to us-ward. God is clearly grieved when we sin. Doesn’t God give us every chance in the world to repent? We are the ones who procrastinate. We wait until the very last minute…. Hoping that God would not cast us aside. What if we are wrong?
The Bible is telling us that we must confess and repent, or we cannot obtain God’s forgiveness. This is important fact to each believer. If we decide that we can come to God and do it another way we are wrong.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
There is no reason for us to die over because of no confession or repentance. This would be foolish for us to loose eternal life, over doing things our way. We need to yield to God’s will not ours.
Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Don’t you want to be freed from the burden of your sin’s past, present, and future?
Don’t you want a change of heart? Don’t be a fool!
Our God is not willing that any should perish. He desires that all will come to him for forgiveness.
However not all are willing. Heaven should be filled with all those that lived before us. But this is not the case.
God goes on to say here, but that all should come to repentance. Yes, should come, but all don’t. And may you find peace and joy in life by obeying.
But all will confess one day it tells us in the Bible ……
Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
What will they confess? It is none other than “Jesus.”
Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
These verses are words of utmost importance. At the judgment seat of the great white throne, even those destined for hell—those who have no qualification or hope of being declared righteous— must confess Jesus Christ as Lord at the final judgment. I earnestly hope you will truly realize the folly of your life and repent. When the Holy Spirit seeks you out (and guides you), you must respond. Before the White Throne Judgment arrives. Now is the time! Today is the day! Not tomorrow! Right now, this very moment! Think of Noah and the ark. The world had 125 years to repent and confess, yet only eight people entered the ark of safety, and afterward God shut the door.
May you be set free from sin, may you commit no sin in any way, and may you repent. Amen.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Amen!
