The oceans and seas are beautiful in color. They have provision, beautiful colors, cool breeze, cool mist fragrance.
The dangers of the oceans and seas especially in a storm can be deep, abyss, dark , cold, salty, boisterous waves, raging winds, rip tides, and dangerous predator sharks.
When we experience Oceans & and seas in these conditions, we no longer have the desire to be there. Remember the disciples calling to Jesus to save them from the storm.
There is another story in the bible in that is every one knows that will help us in our lives Exodus 14 the Israelites and the Red Sea. This is forever part of history.
The Red Sea – is a body of water, located between northeastern Africa and Arabian Peninsula. It has Blue green algae with a red pigment that increase rapidly in the waters and causes a reddish tint to the water, so they call it the Red Sea. This is a scientific occurrence that can be explained however, the Red Sea miracle could have only happened with Our God himself parting the waters.
We all have delt with a Red Sea experience in our lives, a coming out from the bondage of sin, realizing we need a savior and coming to repentance of sin and confession to our God and believing in His son Jesus Christ. When we fall into despair tell it to Jesus!
We must communicate to our Lord and Savior our despair. He will help you!
The Israelites were caught between a rock and a hard place, Pharaoh, on one side and the Red Sea on the other. Surely, they were in trouble defenseless women and children and no way to defend themselves from harm. When we are unable to help yourself, remember doubt comes from Satan not God. Even when these murmuring and disobedient Israelites were in trouble God was with them.
Our God can do the impossible.
Let’s see what God’s word says.
Exodus 14:10
And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.
When Pharaoh drew nigh,- was closer to them
They were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD- Why is it when we can’t do it ourselves then we call on God for help.
Pharaoh, knew that the easy way would be to go through the land Philistines, when he learned they went towards the desert he thought he had them trapped.
Exodus 14:11
And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
God already showed them wonders and signs in Egypt. He was in their presence the whole time and still some had doubts…and were murmuring and disputing the whole time. The cloud and pillar of fire protected them along their way.
Exodus 14:12
Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
Still, murmuring and disputing no change here…complaining for being saved…
Exodus 14:13
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD- they could not listen at a time like this, worried and full of fear!
Ye shall see them again no more for ever- taken away forever.
Exodus 14:14
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
Moses told them twice…
Exodus 14:15
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
Moses did not cry to the Lord it was the Israelites people did in Exodus 14:10,
Moses was told speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
They have already won the victory God has assured them of this “Oh ye of little faith…”
Wait for it, Wait for it,
Exodus 14:16
But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
*Now is the instruction of the Lord… Moses followed it… Will you?
Now God will do the impossible to give them & us the victory. Do you want victory in your life Call on God, believe in His word, trust fully in Him! Give your Red Sea experience to Jesus and He will solve it for you.
Exodus 14:21
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
As Moses followed the instructions of God –it happened.. nothing but truth of God reviled before them. We need to follow the instructions God has given us too.
We must follow the instructions of God in order to be blessed.
You want to be blessed, don’t you?
Follow the instructions of God!
Exodus 14:22
And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
They did not even get their feet wet… a wall of water… fish looking at them, on right and on left. Can you imagine it.. Truly a miracle of God!
Exodus 14:30
Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
Exodus14:31
And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
The LORD saved Israel that day, How about you do you want to be saved today?
God can do the impossible.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Just a simple belief…and you can have everlasting life! Do you want it?
Come today.
